Purpose - Why is there a home corporations?
Any council that wishes to own real property must establish a corporation separate and apart from the Supreme Council. This insulates the Supreme Council from any lawsuits and/or damages arising from use or liabilities associated with owning real property.
Who is part of TCA?
All members of the council are de facto members of the corporation A Board of Directors is elected from membership to run the corporations. The day to day business of the corporation is managed by the President, Vice-President and various committees of the board. A Secretary/Treasurer is appointed from the council members.
What is TCA
What - The home corporation name is "Tri-County Activities Inc." referred to many as TCA Inc. It was incorporated in 1970 in the State of Missouri.
When does TCA meet?
When - The board meets quarterly. The time and date of such meetings are announced in our newsletter or on short notice situation we will use the phone tree. There is an annual meeting of the corporation in which all members attend. During the annual meeting board vacancies are filled by an election from the members.
